The College of Agriculture & Natural Resources is the founding entity for Mizan-Tepi University and continues to represent the founding mission and vision of the university. The College was established in 1999 E.C., holding less than 100 undergraduate students in two departments in the undergraduate program.
The college recognizes that today's world is volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous — and the college also recognizes that it can survive by being flexible, agile, innovative, and responsive. The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources cannot simply extrapolate trends; the future is highly uncertain, and the college needs to understand and learn to function in such times.
Thus, stakeholder analysis as well as internal and external environmental scanning is highly imperative to understand the changing environment, and it will be our future focus.
In a world that is volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous, the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources chooses to survive and thrive by being flexible, agile, innovative, and responsive.
