Mizan-Tepi University Signs Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Agreement.
The President of Mizan-Tepi University, Dr. Wako Geda, signed the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) agreement for the 2018 fiscal year with the university’s Vice Presidents, the Chief of Staff of the President’s Office, and Campus Executives on October 14, 2018 E.C.
During the signing ceremony, Dr. Wako highlighted that university presidents across the country, including himself, had recently signed similar KPI agreements with senior officials from the Ministry of Education and the Chairman of the University Board, His Excellency Dr. Fiseha Yitegesu. He emphasized that this process is part of a nationwide performance management framework in which university presidents cascade the agreements down to their respective vice presidents and institutional leaders
In his concluding remarks, Dr. Wako Geda underscored that the primary purpose of the KPI agreement is to ensure the effective implementation of Mizan-Tepi University’s core missions—enhancing the quality of education, strengthening research and community engagement, and improving institutional management and leadership efficiency. He also noted that the university’s overall performance will be evaluated based on the successful achievement of these key indicators.
